Knot by the Sea was founded by husband-and-wife team Alexandra and Joan. Since 2011 we've married couples from all over the world in Central Park: travelers eloping for a weekend, families gathering twenty strong, New Yorkers keeping it simple.
Our promise is simple: a warm, personal ceremony and beautiful photographs, with none of the stress of a big wedding. Alexandra is your point of contact from the first message to the final photo — she answers every inquiry herself and personally oversees your day. Your ceremony is officiated by Alexandra or one of our trusted bilingual officiants, and your portraits are taken by Joan or one of our trusted associate photographers.
